For Valentines Day this year we decided to head over to the coast for a little beach time. It was a beautiful morning - pretty clear and a bit sunny. We walked up and down the bay front in Newport, checked out Nye Beach, grabbed lunch at The Chowder Bowl and then the rain came ... and we headed home. We actually don't make it the the coast very often but its nice to be so close that we can go for a quick trip.

Enjoying the sand ... a little scared of the waves. It was super high tide, so they were coming in pretty close, which was a little scary I admit.
