Today is Cole's one month birthday

And what a wonderful month it has been! To celebrate, Daddy came home early from work and we went on a family drive. (Translation: Cole decided to celebrate his one month birthday by staying up all day long with no naps. Needless to say, by the afternoon he was a sleepy and fussy little guy. So we loaded him into the car and drove out to Bellfountain and back so that he could get some sleep.)

Our first trip Lebanon to visit Grandma and Grandpa Badger. Lots of visitors came to see Cole -- Grandma Billie, Malia, Keala, Lorrie, Omer, Kathie Sue, Monica, and Elverna. We spent the afternoon visiting and looking at pictures.

First Beaver Game

Today we took Cole to his first Beaver football game. The Beavers played the Huskies and won 29-23. It was a night game so it didn't start until 7:15pm and it was pretty cold -- it got down into the 30s. We stayed through the first half and then headed back to watch the second half of the game from the comfort of the Sathers house. Unfortunately we forgot the camera, so the only pictures we have were taken with the cell phone.

Auntie Sarah comes to visit

Sarah came up this week to visit and spent lots of time with Cole snuggling on the couch.

Fall walks

We've had such lovely weather this past week, which is perfect for walks! We don't go far, but it's nice to get out and do the neighborhood loop. The trees are so beautiful and the temperature is just right.

Although it is a bit brisk, so we bought this fleece outfit to keep Cole warm.

But we forgot that he IS a Badger after all and the Badger men tend to run on the warm side. Half way through our walk today we had to strip down a little bit.

Week three

This week Mom and I were home alone as Dad and Grandma had to go back to work. Some of the week's highlights: a play date with Kelly and Owen Ward, dinner and a TGIF party at Grandma and Grandpa K's house, Halloween, a visit with Grandma B, a couple walks around the neighborhood, and my Uncle Nate came from Massachusetts to see me.
